I’m Melissa Perna, Perth holistic hormone coach Just like you, I started my quest for hormonal balance unsupported and alone.

Luckily for you, you don’t have to do it alone any longer! Consider me your approachable coach, wellness advocate and biggest supporter on your journey to hormonal balance and a happier life.

My journey to holistic hormone health

Cast your mind back to 2006, this was when my journey into wellness started when my cup was empty, and wellbeing was at its lowest.  This is when I was diagnosed with PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome).

Following my diagnosis, and the partial removal of my thyroid, my thyroid became underactive. This caused fluctuating weight issues, adrenal fatigue and feelings of anxiety, depression and associated low self-esteem.

My life became uncomfortable and joy-less. But do you know what they say when you hit rock bottom? The only way is up. This was my turning point and up is where I went.

After many years going through my own hormonal imbalances, I navigated modern medicine and pharmaceutical avenues without success. It was a tough process that made me feel unlistened to and unsupported. And then it hit me. It didn’t have to be like this. I became the advocate I wish I had when I was struggling with hormonal balances. This realisation changed my life for the better.

Following in the footsteps of my 20-year background in education, I studied hormone health, listening to my body to determine what remedies worked and what didn’t. After years of studying hormonal health and training to become a qualified integrative nutritional health coach and immersed myself in holistic hormone coaching for women.

Now, I can be the advocate for you.

Why I do what I do

Why do I do it? Because I’ve been through it – the highs (infrequent), and lows (plenty of ‘em) of living with hormonal imbalances.

Psst… the highs are VERY frequent now as I get to help wonderful people like you truly live healthy, happier lives through holistic hormone coaching.

When I’m not helping my clients heal and recover, you can find me enjoying the simpler things in life like spending quality time with my family, taking a Pilates or yoga class, meditating, or taking a long, relaxing walk along the beach.
